Remera Hospitality Academy Invites WDA Management for breakfast prepared by Trainees

As part of the training programs at WDA- Remera Hospitality Academy, the students who enrolled for the 2 months training program in the area of Food and Beverage Service in conjunction with those pursuing skills in the Culinary art, Trainees practically demonstrated part of what they have covered during the last month of training. The so far acquired knowledge and skills was demonstrated through students preparing various Anglo-American breakfast products by themselves and served it to 40 guests that were invited from various major WDA’s stakeholders.

According to one of the invited guests, students demonstrated high level of technical knowledge and skills in preparing quality products as well as offering high level of services. Those who attended the breakfast were impressed and commended the good work that WDA is doing in ensuring speedy improvement of quality service delivery in the hospitality sector.

 Remera Hospitality Academy is offering technical skills and Customer care skills in the major functional hotel departments which includes; Culinary Arts, Food and Beverage Services, Front Office, Housekeeping Operations. The training program in each area covers 240 hours which goes for approximately 2 months. Students enrolled on these programs are drawn from different hotels around Kigali as part of the strategy in fast tracking the current issue of service delivery that is affecting Rwanda’s economy.
